More than 50 workers performed their respective duties and underwent a full body examination of the 5-story aircraft. Although it was early in the morning, the entire warehouse was as hot as a steamer. According to Wang Lei, the head of the regular inspection workshop, the core temperature of the engine during operation can reach as high as 800 ℃, while the shell temperature is around 60 ℃.
Aircraft maintenance is a system engineering project that mainly includes aircraft scheduled inspections, pre flight, transit, and post flight maintenance, as well as troubleshooting.
It is reported that airplanes, like cars, also require regular physical examinations, and the requirements are more detailed. For example, Boeing 737-800 aircraft needs routine maintenance before, after and between takeoff and landing every day. And if the aircraft has flown for a total of 350 hours or 30 days, it needs to undergo an A check, which is equivalent to regular car maintenance, with 50 people working for 6 hours at a time. The highest level of C-inspection requires the dismantling of hundreds of thousands of aircraft components, which can be completed in at least a week.
